How it Works

1. Welcome & Orientation:

Upon arrival, your personal guide will warmly greet you at your chosen location. Your cliffside haven awaits, expertly prepared for your arrival. Relax as your guide provides a comprehensive orientation, ensuring you feel comfortable and excited for the adventure ahead.

2. Master the ropes, or let your instructor take full control

Safety is our top priority. Your guide will first establish a secure zone at the cliff top, complete with all necessary safety measures. You'll then receive hands-on instruction in the art of abseiling. With expert guidance, you'll make your descent to your private sky lounge, where adrenaline meets comfort.

3. Your Personal Sanctuary

Once you're securely anchored to your cliffside haven, your guide will retreat to a discreet distance. This leaves you free to absorb the awe-inspiring views of the Scottish Highlands, knowing that assistance is just a shout away. You'll also receive tips on how to comfortably navigate your ledge, ensuring you can move around with ease and confidence.

4. Culinary Delight in the Sky

Whether it's a Lunchtime Hamper, an evening meal, or an overnight feast, your chosen culinary experience will be delivered directly to your ledge. Savour locally sourced, freshly-prepared food while enjoying a view that few have ever experienced. All dietary requirements are catered for, ensuring a meal that's as unforgettable as the setting.

5. Capture the Moment

This is a bucket-list experience, and you'll want memories to match. Your guide is available to capture this extraordinary adventure with complimentary photography. Whether it's a selfie against the backdrop of a Highland sunset or a candid shot of your awe-struck expression, these photos will be treasured for a lifetime.

6. Ascend and Depart

The adventure doesn't end until you're safely back on solid ground. Depending on your chosen package, you may ascend after a meal, or wake up to an early morning call if you've opted for an overnight stay. Either way, you'll be helped back to the cliff top, where a final farewell and a refreshing morning brew and breakfast (for overnighters) await you.

Choose your Experience:

  • When does the course start and finish?
Start time: 09:30 - Finish time: 16:00. Please note, these times are approximate and could be subject to minor changes. Please leave plenty of time when booking public transport.
  • What's the minimum/maximum age for participation?
Anyone aged 13 or over can attend any of our scheduled courses. We hold an AALA license and are able to take out children who are younger than 13, however we only offer this on a private guided basis. See our private guiding rates, as this can work out very competitive, especially when booking as a family. There is no maximum age, if you feel young enough to attend then you are very welcome!
  • Does the course price include food and drink?
Almost all courses begin and end at our initial meeting place, which is usually a car park. Here your instructor will be able to provide a quick brew and a snack whilst chatting about the days activity. We do not provide food as part of our courses and you will need to bring a packed lunch along for each day. There are often local cafes within a short drive of our locations (but not always!) that can provide you with sandwiches, cakes and drinks.
  • How do I book?
All of our courses can be booked privately, with a private instructor just for you or your group. This gives you the flexibility to book any date that suits you and also it means the instructor can fine-tune the course content to suit your aspirations. To make a booking, simply follow our online booking link below, or get in touch to discuss any specific requirements or changes you might have in mind.
  • Are there any pre-requisites?
Some indoor or outdoor rock climbing experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
