Our Highland Navigation Courses have been our most popular courses for a long time. With courses suitable for everyone from complete beginners to those who are looking at becoming instructors themselves it's a great way to start or develop your adventures in the outdoors.
We deliver regular Navigation Courses and Map Reading Courses throughout the whole year. Whether you are a seasoned walker looking for formal tuition or someone who is unsure of where to begin, with a Highland or Central Belt Navigation Course you can start to master the art of using a map and compass.
Beginner Navigation
From £100pp
So you are always letting someone else lead the way or your solo walks are guided by more than a bit of luck. Your reasons for wanting to get better at navigation make a great chat over coffee and we can’t wait to meet you and find out more. The freedom of the hills is soon to be yours

We can give you the skills to venture off-piste and explore the vast swathes of heather clad wilderness that hide some of this Island’s best kept secrets.
