Bolton School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paddle Sport Instructor to work on a freelance basis.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a long-term paddler development programme and will be instructing the same pupils from Year 9 to Year 13, ensuring the course is structured and continually risk assessed but also maintaining a fun environment.

Relevant and current experience of working with young people in the outdoors is essential. The School uses adventure learning as a vehicle for personal and social development. As a self-employed freelance instructor, you will be expected to have your own liability insurance. In return for your services,

Bolton School has competitive rates of pay, with the rate of pay being £140 per day.

The minimum qualifications would be British Canoeing Moderate Water Kayak Leader or above or a Level 3 Coaching qualification, as well as being First Aid Qualified. Additional qualifications in Mountain Biking, Climbing, Mountaineering and Sailing would be advantageous.
