Activities Manager – Outdoor Adventure Centre at Kingswood

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Activities Manager to join our friendly team at Grosvenor Hall in Ashford! 

About us:

We are one of the most experienced providers of outdoor education in the UK. We were founded over 35 years ago and run over 1.2 million activity sessions each year across ten activity centres. Each year we welcome over 175,000 young people from more than 35 countries around the world.

You will be reporting to our friendly General Manager at Grosvenor Hall. 

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Leading the activity team through mentorship, development, and inspiration.

• Managing, Renovating and Enhancing all areas of activity delivery, paying particular attention to the Water Sports product. 

• Support the other Heads of Department in undertaking the role of Duty Manager in line with the company rota. 

• Build and maintain effective relationships with technical and training providers.

About you:

• Personable, with the ability to lead, mentor and develop small teams.

• Effective communicator and solution-focused.

• Recognised outdoor NGBs.

• Experienced in working in the Outdoor Industry.
